Atul is a seasoned IT professional who began his career as in-house support for a law firm and steadily advanced into management. Over those early years, he saw firsthand how clear communication about technology – and its real business impact – can make or break an organization’s success.
After leaving in-house IT, Atul joined a managed service provider (MSP) supporting a wide range of clients. While he appreciated the variety of environments and challenges, he quickly realized that many services were being delivered in a one-size-fits-all, cookie-cutter way – optimized for the MSP’s efficiency rather than each client’s actual needs, often leaving businesses paying for solutions they didn’t fully use or benefit from.
In 2009, Atul founded BASE Solutions in Tysons Corner, Virginia, with a simple but different vision: put the client’s business first. He takes the time to truly understand every client and their operations, then explains technology and solutions in clear, straightforward language that makes sense – even to those without a technical background. This personal, tailored approach to IT has become the cornerstone of how BASE Solutions serves its clients and defines its culture today.
