Projects That Ship On Time and On Budget

Consulting and project delivery for professional services firms

across the DMV.

Where IT Projects Tend to Come Apart

What firms find when the project moves from
plan to delivery.

The plan stops looking like the delivery.

The project was scoped neatly on paper. Then the kickoff happens, work starts, and the plan stops matching the day to day. Decisions get made on the fly, and the budget is gone before the first milestone.

The senior people hand off.

The pitch was led by senior people. The delivery is being run by someone the team has never met. Questions take longer to answer, and the firm is paying senior rates for someone learning their account from scratch.

Subcontractors nobody mentioned.

The project plan is being delivered by people the firm thought were direct employees of their MSP. They’re not. Accountability sits between two parties, and the contract you signed only covers one of them.

The handover that never happens.

The project ships and the consultant moves on. The firm is left figuring out the new system without much support. Documentation is partial, and training was a meeting rather than a process.

Project Delivery Built Around Accountability

IT projects work when the people scoping them are the people delivering them. We run projects with senior staff from start to finish, with the same faces involved from kickoff to handover. The result is projects that finish where they were supposed to, with the team already trained on the system before the consultant walks away.

Senior People From Kickoff To Handover

The senior staff who scope your project are the same people running the delivery, with no handoffs to junior teams or subcontractors mid-flight.

Fixed Scope, Fixed Timeline

Every project runs against a defined scope and a committed timeline, agreed upon before work starts and tracked against milestones the firm can see.

One Number
To Call

A dedicated project manager who knows your firm and your project, available throughout the engagement and through the handover into ongoing support.

BASE Staff On Every Engagement

The people on the project are BASE staff with the same accountability standards as the rest of the relationship, never third-party contractors brought in for capacity.

Trained Before the Handover

The firm's team gets trained on the system before the project closes, with documentation and a handover plan that doesn’t end at the implementation date.

A Risk-Free First Month

What Consulting and Project Delivery Looks Like at BASE

Four steps from defining the scope to the team using the system on day one.

Scope & Plan

Before any work starts, we map the project’s goals, dependencies, and constraints with the firm’s leadership. The output is a scope statement with the timeline, budget, and milestones the engagement will be measured against.

Project Management

& Coordination

A dedicated project manager runs the engagement from day one, with weekly status updates, clear escalation paths, and visibility into where every workstream stands. The team you meet at kickoff is the team you stay with through delivery.

Delivery & Implementation

Senior BASE staff handle the technical execution, including infrastructure changes, system migrations, and the configuration work that turns the plan into something the firm can use. The same team on the project is on every part of the delivery.

Training & Handover

We handle moves, adds, and changes as the team grows, plus the integration tuning that keeps calls connected to the rest of your firm’s tools. Quarterly reviews catch what’s working and what to swap.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions when firms scope a VoIP and connectivity rollout with us.

What kinds of projects do you deliver?

Office relocations, multi-site rollouts, M&A IT integration, Microsoft 365 and cloud migrations, infrastructure refreshes, and the technology side of new office openings. Most projects involve working alongside the firm’s leadership and any existing IT staff.

It depends on the scope. An office relocation runs four to eight weeks from planning to live. A multi-site rollout or M&A integration runs three to six months, often with phased delivery. Each engagement gets its own timeline as part of the scoping work.

End to end. The project manager, the technical staff, and the people doing the implementation all sit inside BASE. Some specialized work occasionally involves named partners (cabling contractors for major office moves, for example), but those are managed by us, not by the firm.

The engagement closes with full documentation, training for your team, and a handover plan that defines who supports the new system going forward. Most clients fold the new system into our ongoing managed IT services. Either way, you have a system the team can run.
